About this role
Our Support Technicians look after service in the Field – working on-site with our diverse range of customers, from small local businesses to large FTSE 100 corporate organizations. No two days are the same! Some of our larger and complex customers have very specific needs, from provision or repair, hardware, software, or infrastructure.
As a Customer Support Technician, you will work in the field daily and have direct exposure to our customers. Working on customer sites means you’ll need to be prepared to travel, but that’s part of the fun! You’ll see our technology in many innovative ways and be part of it. You will assist with installations, setup, and non-complex repairs.
You will also communicate ideas and problems to customers related to the BT portfolio, ensure services are set up and optimized, and may recommend or sell new digital products and services.

About this apprenticeship
This apprenticeship lasts 18 months, with at least 20% of working hours dedicated to learning and studying, including one study day per week. Upon completion, you will earn a Level 3 qualification in Information Communication.
You will gain hands-on experience while studying for a nationally recognized qualification. Note: in Scotland, the qualification may differ slightly.
Entry Requirements
You need five GCSEs at grades 4-9 (C or above), including English and Maths, or equivalent qualifications. You must hold a full manual driving license with no more than six points, as travel is required. If you do not currently have a license, you must pass your test at least one month before starting. Some roles may require security clearance. If you have already completed a Level 3 qualification in Information Communication, please contact us to confirm eligibility. All applicants must have a full UK Right to Work for the duration of the scheme.
