The role is with a well-known, publicly traded medical device company located just outside the Boston city limits. Hybrid schedule (3 days in office; 2 days WFH)
Base pay range
$130,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr

Excellent role for someone with a Big 4 foundation, strong technical skills, and at least 5 years of experience. (Ideal range is someone with 5-7 years; ideal candidate is someone who started their career in Big 4 and is now at a publicly traded company.)
Comp is around $130-140K + bonus.

Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain accounting standards and policies
* Monitor and interpret new and proposed accounting standards (e.g., FASB, SEC) and assess their potential impact on the business.
* Serve as the subject matter expert on U.S. GAAP and technical accounting especially as they pertain
* Draft and prepare technical accounting memos and documentation to support accounting conclusions and external audit reviews.
* Help create and text internal controls over technical accounting.
* Support quarterly and annual SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K) including footnote disclosures
* Partner with external auditors to facilitate technical reviews and resolve accounting issues.
* Contribute to ongoing process improvements and system enhancements related to technical accounting and reporting.
