Responsibilities
* Oversee all aspects of food preparation and cooking, ensuring dishes are prepared to the highest standards.
* Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to ensure efficient operations.
* Manage food production processes, including inventory control, portioning, and presentation.
* Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service delivery.
* Develop new menu items that reflect current culinary trends and customer preferences.
* Ensure adherence to food safety protocols and hygiene practices at all times.
* Assist in managing kitchen budgets and controlling food costs effectively.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar kitchen role within the hospitality industry.
* Strong culinary skills with extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques.
* Supervising experience with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
* Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of food production.
* Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
* Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with both kitchen staff and front-of-house teams.
