PURPOSE OF JOB
Responsible for managing, controlling, and maintaining quality-related documentation across projects. The role ensures that all documents related to inspections, testing, certifications, quality plans, and procedures are up-to-date, traceable, and compliant with both company standards and industry regulations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Establish and maintain the document control system for QA/QC documentation.
* Manage the flow of quality records including WPS/PQRs, material certificates, inspection reports, welding logs, NDT reports, and final dossiers.
* Ensure all QA documents are properly reviewed, approved, and distributed.
* Track document revisions and ensure obsolete versions are removed and archived. Work closely with Quality Inspectors, Engineers, and Fabrication teams to ensure timely submission and retrieval of quality documentation.
* Compile Manufacturing Record Books (MRBs) and Final Documentation Dossiers for client handover.
* Maintain logs of internal/external audits, NCRs (Non-conformance Reports), and corrective/preventive actions.
* Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ASME, AWS, and client-specific quality requirements. Support the QA/QC team during audits by organizing and presenting required documentation.
* Digitize and archive documents in a systematic and secure manner for future reference.

* It is your responsibility to work in a safe manner to promote personal safety and the safety of others to prevent accidents occurring and report all near misses. Move materials safely and carefully using the correct mechanical lifting method. use the appropriate PPE and ensure it is in good condition, replace when required. Follow the company's Health & Safety Policy at all times.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
* Certification in Document Control (e.g., from ARMA, AIIM).
* Experience working in EPC or fabrication shops serving oil & gas, power, or infrastructure sectors.
* Familiar with QA documentation and fabrication workflows.
* Proficient in MS Office and electronic document management systems (EOMS)
