Part-Time Licensing Enforcement Officer
Starting salary between £33,510 and £40,383 (pro rata) per annum
14.5 hours per week (Tuesday and either Wednesday/Thursday with flexibility)
Location: King’s Court Council Offices, King’s Lynn
We have a rare opportunity to join our small, dedicated Licensing team as a Licensing Enforcement Officer. You will ensure compliance across licensed activities such as taxis, alcohol premises, animal welfare, and gambling.
Your responsibilities include carrying out inspections, investigating complaints, and enforcing regulations, including formal legal proceedings. The role involves working independently, liaising with stakeholders, and representing the Council at hearings and tribunals.
Applicants should have strong investigative skills, a good understanding of licensing legislation, enforcement experience including PACE and RIPA, excellent communication and analytical skills, confidence in presenting evidence, and a commitment to service quality.
