As a Customer & Ticketing Service Assistant, you will be the face of Edinburgh’s popular tram network, providing ticketing information to residents and visitors. You will also support unique events such as Scottish Rugby, Edinburgh Festival Fringe, and the Royal Highland Show.

Your responsibilities include:
1. Checking tickets onboard the tram and around the network.
2. Responding to customer queries by identifying needs and providing assistance.
3. Providing customer service, revenue protection, and crowd control at major city events.
4. Understanding products and services to offer the best ticket deals.
5. Assisting tram drivers with emergency response procedures and communicating with the Operation Control Room.
Safety is our top priority. We have robust procedures to ensure everyone's safety, and full training will be provided on maintaining high safety standards.
Experience in customer service is desirable, but enthusiasm, a good sense of humor, and a willingness to help are essential. Applicants must be over 18.
Benefits include 33 days of annual leave and a 40-hour workweek on a rota of 5 days over 7. If seeking part-time hours, please specify your preferred pattern in your application.
