Job Description

Tiger Private is seeking a highly capable Business Assistant (Operations) on behalf of a well-funded, early-stage AI startup in London. You will work directly with the CEO and take full ownership of business operations.


This is not a traditional assistant position — it’s a high-impact opportunity for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, solves problems independently, and ensures everything runs smoothly end-to-end. This is a hands-on role for someone who doesn’t wait for instructions. You spot problems early, design solutions quickly, and make things happen.

Key Responsibilities
* Own daily operations: manage contractors, lawyers, and external service providers
* Support people operations: hiring, onboarding, payroll, pensions, insurance (via providers such as Deel)
* Project-manage office-related logistics: search, negotiations, fit-out, equipment, deadlines
* Review and manage key documents, contracts, and operational paperwork
* Act as the CEO’s operational right hand: calendar management, meeting coordination, decision tracking, follow-ups




Candidate Requirements
* 3+ years’ experience in Operations / Business Assistant / Executive Assistant roles
* Strong problem-solving mindset — proactive, logical, solutions-focused
* Comfortable using AI and modern productivity tools
* Ownership mentality: you take initiative and drive outcomes
* Fluent English (Russian is a plus)
* Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
* London-based, office-first (hybrid possible after probation)




Salary
* From £60,000+, DOE

* In addition to a traditional interview, logic puzzles will be presented — not for fun, but because this role requires sharp thinking through novel problems daily. Intellect over credentials!
