Salaried General Practitioner (ARRS funded) Fixed term
We are seeking a positive, caring and self- motivated newlyqualified GP to join our experienced clinical team, on a fixed term basisfunded through the ARRS scheme. This is subject to renewal after March 2027 dependingon ongoing funding and requirements of the practice. The applicant must bewithin 2 years of completing their CCT at the time of appointment. They mustnot have had substantive employment within a GP practice and/or be employed ina temporary capacity or as a locum. We also ask that they are eligible to work inthe UK; we will not be able to offer sponsorship for this position.
This position is for 4 sessions per week at £10000 per session per year (including Friday)
Main duties of the job
The post holder can expect to work in an encouraging and supportive practice environment. They will undertake a range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care in a timely manner. The job plan will be based on the principles of the BMA Safe Working Guidance.

Front Street Surgery has been open for over 40 years and we have approximately 8500 patients. Our main branch is in Acomb with a satellite branch in Copmanthorpe. The post holder will be expected to work from both sites. We are a very friendly and supportive team, led by a team of 4 experienced and forward-thinking partners. We offer a multi-skilled clinical team which comprises of 10 GPs, practice nurses, HCAs, phlebotomist and we also have a PCN physiotherapist and mental health practitioner. As a training practice, with HYMS, we welcome a diverse and everchanging selection of students and registrars.

Job responsibilities
To work as an autonomous practitioner, responsible forthe provision of medical services to the practice population, delivering anexcellent standard of clinical care whilst complying with the contract.
Furthermore, the post holder will adhere to the GMCstandards for good medical practice, contributing to the effective managementof the practice, leading by example, maintaining a positive, collaborativeworking relationship with the multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications
* The applicant must be within 2 years of completing their CCT at the time of appointment. * Qualified GP
* MRCGP
* Vocational Training Certificate or equivalent JCPTGP
* General Practitioner (Certificate of Completion of Training CCT)
* Full GMC registration
* National Performers List registration (England)
* Appropriate defence indemnity (MPS/MDU)
* Evidence of current validation
* Eligibility to practice in the UK independently
* Experience of medicines management
* Experience of Qof and clinical Audit
