Job Description
3. Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organisational goals.
4. Manage supplier relationships to ensure performance and value delivery.
5. Lead contract negotiations and ensure compliance with public sector regulations.
6. Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, including tendering and contract awards.
7. Provide expert advice on procurement and supply chain management practices.
8. Monitor and report on procurement performance metrics and cost savings.
9. Collaborate with internal teams to understand and meet their procurement needs.
10. Ensure compliance with public procurement legislation and organisational policies.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Commercial Manager should have:
11. Proven experience in procurement and supply chain management within the public sector.
12. Strong knowledge of public procurement regulations and compliance requirements.
13. Ability to lead complex contract negotiations and supplier management initiatives.
14. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for procurement challenges.
15. Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
16. Relevant professional qualifications in procurement or supply chain management are advantageous.
