This role leads the Cold End Engineering function
- the part of the process where product is inspected, handled, conveyed and prepared for dispatch.
You'll run the department.

What You'll Be Doing Leading, coaching and developing a team of engineering technicians Owning Health & Safety, driving standards daily Managing breakdowns and keeping production moving Planning work through CMMS and ensuring completion Managing budgets, labour and resource Delivering toolbox talks and developing capability Providing technical support to engineers across shifts Managing contractors, permits and risk assessments Driving improvements, projects and PPM optimisation Stepping in for senior leadership when required Ideal Background: Strong manufacturing / FMCG maintenance background Apprentice trained electrical engineer HNC/HND or equivalent Proven experience leading engineering teams Comfortable owning performance, budget and delivery A problem-solver who takes action Desirable: Experience with inspection equipment, conveyors, palletisation or automation Lean / SMED experience ILM Level 5 or similar The Person Leads from the front Takes ownership Makes decisions Drives standards Delivers under pressure No shortcuts Why This Role?
