Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Email & Digital Marketing Executive to join our e-commerce team. This is a role with a strong focus on email marketing, covering everything from campaign planning and segmentation through to automation and reporting.
Alongside email, you will support SEO improvements, website/digital performance monitoring, and customer segmentation, helping the team, and yourself, to make decisions across all digital areas.
The ideal candidate is proactive, can take ownership of their responsibilities, and thinks strategically.
Key Responsibilities
Email Marketing:
The growth and optimisation of key digital marketing metrics will be central to success in this role. You will take ownership of tracking, analysing, and improving performance across a range of areas.
• Plan, curate, and send weekly/monthly email campaigns (newsletters, launches, promotions).
• Manage segmentation, personalisation, and automation flows (welcome series, cart abandonment, win-back, post-purchase and more).
• Run A/B tests on subject lines, creatives, and timings to improve performance.
• Report on key metrics (open rate, CTR, conversions, revenue, unsubscribes).
• Collaborate with the creative team to brief and finalise copy and assets.
Key targets for growth and optimisation will be related to:
open rates, click through rates, conversion rate and unsubscribe rates.
Analytics & Reporting:
* Build and maintain reporting dashboards across GA4, Shopify, and email platforms.
* Track campaign performance and digital KPIs, providing actionable insights.
* Assist with monthly and ad hoc digital/website performance reports.
SEO & Website Support:
* Carry out on-page SEO updates (meta tags, titles, headings, alt text, product descriptions).
* Support keyword research and content optimisation.
* Monitor organic search performance and highlight opportunities.
* Keep track of competitor performance
Other:
* Assist with conversion rate optimisation (CRO) by reviewing product and checkout pages, identifying drop-offs, and suggesting improvements.
* Provide reporting support on paid media channels (Google Ads, Meta).
* Manage backend customer segmentation for better profiling which can assist across other digital areas, such as email.
Skills & Experience Required
Essential:
· Minimum 3 years of Experience in Ecommerce and Digital Marketing
· Hands-on experience with email marketing platforms (Klaviyo, Mailchimp, HubSpot, or similar).
· Understanding of segmentation, automation, and reporting.
· Familiarity with GA4 and digital analytics tools.
· Awareness of SEO fundamentals and on-page optimisation.
· Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Desirable:
· Experience with Shopify or other e-commerce platforms.
· Google Ads knowledge and understanding.
· Basic HTML/CSS knowledge for email editing.
· Copywriting or content editing skills.
