Cognitive Behavioural Therapist / Supervisor
Job Summary
We are looking for a CBT therapist supervisor to join our psychological professions team, offering clinical work and supervision in our adult mental health community services. We seek innovative, flexible and passionate professionals committed to providing trauma‑informed, person‑centred care in adult community mental health.
Eligibility
This role is only open to employees of the following NHS organisations in Cornwall or the Isles of Scilly:

* Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Integrated Care Board
Job Responsibilities
The post holder will:
* Provide cognitive behavioural therapy to clients across all sectors of care, including specialist assessment and therapy.
* Offer advice and consultation on CBT care to non‑CBT colleagues and carers in accordance with professional guidelines and team policies.
* Maintain a caseload of clients and supervise other CBT therapists, trainee CBT therapists and mental‑health wellbeing practitioners, providing guidance and advice on treatment, referrals and caseload management.
Person Specification – Essential
* BABCP accredited psychological therapist with core mental health training (e.g., nursing, social work). Professional registration (HCPC/NMC/SWE) required.
* Significant experience as a CBT therapist with evidence of required competencies.
* Completion or willingness to undertake CBT supervisor training.
* Knowledge of the impact of work on mental health, benefits and employment systems.
* Understanding of medication for anxiety, depression and other common health problems.
* Proven commitment to evidence‑based psychological therapies.
