Storesperson: Supporting our shipping operations
We are looking for a Storesperson to administer and process the goods in and out operations
This is a great opportunity for an individual with some previous Stores or warehouse experience who would like to further their career within a high performing team that prides themselves on delivering quality products and services in line with the company, client, and quality expectations
Primary responsibilities
1. Working at the Goods In area and unloading/receiving deliveries for Score Energy
2. Follow correct procedures when receipting and adding goods into stock
3. Organise stock and maximise storage locations
4. Follow Customer specific packaging and shipping requirements relating to goods being returned to customers
5. Ensuring goods are correctly packaged when sending out for Sub-con
6. Manage and create dispatch documentation ensuring compliance
7. Organise courier collections and required AWB’s
8. Reporting any day to day issues or queries to stores team leader
9. Completing weekly maintenance and lifting equipment checks
10. Ensuring care is taken when carrying out forklift (reach truck) tasks especially when transporting heavy goods and working at height within the racking areas
11. Recycling and disposal of packaging materials
Qualifications
12. SVQ level 2 Warehousing and Stores or equivalent is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided
13. A valid driving licence is essential
Experience
14. Previous experience within a Stores or warehouse environment is preferred
15. Previous experience of the equipment and machinery used within a stores/warehouse environment, including forklifts is preferred
16. Basic computer skills are essential
17. Familiarity with import and export process is desirable
18. Previous working knowledge of Dangerous Goods Air, Sea & Road standard is desirable
