We’re looking for a Corporation Tax Compliance Manager to join us in our Bradford office. This is hybrid working – 2 days in the office, 3 days remote.

What will you be doing?
1. You will prepare and review UK and overseas tax computations, tax provision calculations for delivery to Liberty Blume's customers, and international quarterly and year-end tax provision calculations (IFRS and US GAAP).
2. You will deliver seamless stakeholder management, whilst seeking and implementing continuous improvements to deliver efficiencies through technology, automation, and artificial intelligence solutions.
3. You will train, support, and manage junior members of the tax team, ensuring they work seamlessly with other Liberty Blume teams, customers, and particularly the LG Tax teams, to ensure that tax technical items are correctly reflected in the tax returns.
4. Working with various customers’ tax and accounting teams, you will understand their enterprise operational requirements for tax processes, as well as their technology environment and interfaces.
5. You will develop the most efficient organisational structure and limit possible exposures and errors, whilst expanding the scope of the Liberty Blume Tax team to other/new customers by demonstrating the potential value of the service.
We tend to look for people with:
1. Proven experience as a Finance Manager or Accountant, with a Chartered Accountancy qualification such as ACCA, ACA, or CTA, or equivalent.
2. Post-qualification experience in corporate tax compliance and/or reporting roles in industry or practice.
3. Experience with UK tax issues such as CIR, CFC, Hybrids, R&D, and Group Payment Arrangements.
4. Knowledge of Thompson Reuters ONESOURCE or similar software.
5. The ability to coach and support other team members, utilizing a forward-thinking continuous process improvement mindset.
6. Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
