Key Responsibilities
As a Science Cover Teacher, you will:
* Deliver engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4, including Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
* Plan creative lessons that align with curriculum requirements and support student progress
* Supervise practical experiments safely, ensuring health and safety protocols are followed
* Maintain classroom discipline and foster a purposeful learning environment
* Adapt quickly to different Science topics, classes, and ability levels, ensuring continuity of learning
* Work collaboratively with the Science department and support departmental initiatives
* Participate enthusiastically in extracurricular and enrichment activities related to STEM

Required Qualifications & Experience
To be considered, you must have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Enhanced DBS certificate and EWC registration (Teaching Personnel can assist)
* At least two relevant professional references
* Strong classroom management and communication skills
* Confidence teaching Science to KS3 and KS4 students
