Overall Purpose of Job:
The main purpose of the job is to conduct mechanical and/or electrical assembly of sub-assemblies
and finished products to required internal and external specifications and standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Mechanical and/or Electrical assembly of a range of products for the Educational Engineering
and Food Technology sectors
· Reporting feedback to Team Leader on job status
· Working with team members to improve working methods
· Support in the raising CR-E (Engineering Change Requests) and feeding back to engineering
issues
· Supporting in the creation of standardised working practices
· Ensuring product is assembled correctly and on time, supporting production demand as
required
· Ensuring that the safety of your colleagues remains uncompromised
· Assisting in booking of all units passed to test / stores and completion of necessary
documentation
· Communicating effectively (issues / progress) with Team Leaders
· Assisting with Fault Finding and Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action events
Requirements:
· At least 3 years electrical production / manufacturing wiring experience
· IPC620 Specialist or Similar Qualification (Preferred)
· 5s experience (Preferred)
· Basic computer skills – NAV / Excel / Outlook
