About the Role:
As a Social Worker within our team, the candidate will play a pivotal role in fulfilling statutory responsibilities for Children in Care (CIC). The role involves utilizing knowledge and expertise to support the team, ensuring the best outcomes for children in care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Chairing multi-disciplinary meetings and collaborating with other agencies and professionals to complete assessments and develop child-centred care plans.
* Conducting annual Children and Family Assessments to ensure care plans are up-to-date and reflect the child’s needs.
* Ensuring children’s daily care needs are met and that they have a comprehensive understanding of their care journey through direct work, life story work, and collaboration with other professionals.
* Managing a caseload of up to 18 children, including those subject to Care Orders, Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children, children placed with parents, and those under Placement Orders.
* Contributing to the team’s growth by sharing knowledge, enhancing skills, and supporting the overall development of the team
