Job description
Salary awarded is based on skills assessment at interview.
This role is available full-time for 37 hours per week, Monday-Friday, or part-time with a minimum of 28 hours per week. Flexible or compressed working hours available.
This role is office-based.
Responsibilities
* Design, build, and test electronic circuits and printed circuit boards.
* Join a product development team working on hardware products and security solutions.
* Create and maintain electronic hardware for custom security products for domestic and international partners.
* Modify existing designs and collaborate on new product development.
* Receive training and support, with a budget for external courses and dedicated research time.
Candidate Requirements
Experience in designing and testing analogue, digital, and microcontroller-based systems.
Understanding of product and system design and development.
Relevant work experience or qualifications, equivalent to or a HND in electrical/electronic engineering.
Beneficial but not essential: additional qualifications, experience in schematic capture, PCB design, RF, EMC, signal integrity, and PCB manufacturing processes.

Role Activities
* Design, develop, and document electronic PCB systems.
* Verify designs through testing and peer reviews.
* Support products and investigate defects.
* Contribute to library parts and project planning.
