We are seeking passionate, committed Teaching Assistants to join our expanding all-age special school. Your role will be dynamic, fast-paced, and full of opportunity, supporting a diverse range of learners with moderate to complex additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, Down’s Syndrome, social-emotional challenges, mental health needs, medical and personal care requirements. What We’re Looking For: We need Level 2 Teaching Assistants to join our team to provide daily cover across the school. You will need to:• Be flexible, enthusiastic and committed to supporting pupils across our all age special school. • Have a positive approach to change and be able to adapt to different learning environments and needs.• Provide high quality support for pupils.• Be willing to work wide range of learners, helping them engage with learning, participate in activities and feel secure in their routines. About the Role• Providing cover in classes throughout the school, whenever staff are absent or when additional capacity is needed.• Supporting pupils with classroom learning and routines across different year groups• Assisting with learning activities planned by class teachers• Building trusting relationships to help pupils feel secure• Promoting communication, independence and engagement• Supporting personal care, feeding and individual medical needs (full training provided)• Contributing to active, inclusive break‑time experiences as part of the duty team• Working across classes to support colleagues• No two days are the same, and the role suits someone who is adaptable, calm, positive and pupil-focused. The working hours for the role are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 8.50am – 3.40pm & Wednesday 8.50am – 4.40pm. On occasional Wednesdays there are extended CPD sessions until 5.45pm.
