Job Description:
Pulse has recently partnered with one of the UK’s specialist providers of diagnostic and healthcare solutions. We are currently looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to support the clinical leadership of the service. The role is based in Boston, England.
About the role:
The team focuses on medical care for the elderly, including conditions such as frailty, dementia, acute diseases, and chronic ailments. You will be supported in developing your leadership and management skills throughout your career.
Main responsibilities as an Occupational Therapist:
* Support patients in achieving their individual goals to maintain independence in their occupational activities.
* Collaborate with the Multidisciplinary Team to assist patients in discharge planning from hospital to their identified place of discharge (e.g., home or community rehabilitation).
* Conduct assessments within the hospital and support community visits for discharge planning. Supervise and support other therapy staff in the team.
Qualifications and experience required:
* Qualified Occupational Therapist registered with the HCPC.
* Experience in an acute NHS or community setting.
* Confident, engaging, and effective leader, trainer, and role model.
* Highly organized and proactive.
