Job overview

Wolverhampton Talking Therapies offers intervention for Depression and all anxiety disorders. As a service we consistently excel with above average moving to recovery rates, positive client feedback and exceptionally high job satisfaction from our team. We are currently looking to appoint a Receptionist/Admin Assistant to work at Pond Lane to assist the existing team in providing a comprehensive administration service.

Excellent administrative, organisational and communication skills are essential, with the ability to work well under pressure. You must be a team player and able to cope with conflicting demands. You will have the ability to use your own initiative, possess problem solving skills and you must be professional, flexible and with a ‘can do’ attitude. You must possess excellent attention to detail, have a working knowledge of GDPR and confidentiality, plus the confidence to work efficiently and competently.

You must be qualified to GCSE level C or equivalent in English and Maths and have proven experience of IT, especially in Microsoft Office.

Main duties of the job

To provide reception duties and assist in the provision of a comprehensive administrative and clerical service in accordance with service requirements

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

To provide a welcoming reception at Pond Lane reception including answering the telephone, handling incoming mail, booked interpreters and processing referrals. Plus assisting with administration duties, as required.

Administration

* 5 GCSE's and 2 years admin experience
* Computer knowledge including Microsoft packages
* Office experience
* Manage workload
* Able to maintain confidentiality. Understand Data Protection Act
* Admin experience
* Worked in a healthcare environment
* Enable yourself and others to act with confidence and authority in order to achieve the best outcome for everyone

The salary range quoted is as per NHS Agenda for Change pay structures where applicable. This is based on the number of years’ working directly within the NHS at the advertised pay band. Experience gained with other NHS Trusts will apply, but candidates without prior experience working direct for the NHS would normally be appointed at the lowest point unless they can demonstrate the equivalent experience and then be eligible for incremental increases in future years. Medical and Very Senior Manager roles are exempt from agenda for change and subject to alternative remuneration structures.

Successful applicants for clinical posts up to and including Band 4 are expected to hold the national Care Certificate qualification and will be supported to attain this once in post.
