The Opportunity: Apprentice Trade Counter Sales Person
Responsibilities:
* Provide excellent customer service to trade customers and end consumers.
* Process sales using in-store payment systems, quoting correct pricing, delivery dates, and stock requirements.
* Build relationships with internal and external customers, encouraging repeat business.
* Maintain up-to-date product and industry knowledge.
* Develop technical knowledge of products, services, and depot systems.
* Develop long-term relationships with customers.
* Handle incoming and outgoing stock.
Requirements:
* Ability to build strong relationships.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Effective planning and organizational skills.
* Ability to prioritize and manage workload.
* A desire for continuous personal and professional development.
* Legal right to work in the UK and evidence of this.
The Apprenticeship:
* Training provided by our in-house Learning & Development Team and external providers.
* Duration: 15 months, including a minimum 12-month learning period and end-point assessment.
* Support for apprentices without Level 1 English and maths qualifications to achieve these levels before the assessment.
