Are you passionate about making a difference in the life of a child with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)? We’re looking for a caring, proactive, and skilled 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant to support a pupil in a local primary school in Exeter.
Your new role
1. Work closely with one pupil to support their learning, emotional wellbeing, and development
2. Provide a consistent andpassionate presence to help the child thrive in the classroom
3. Collaborate with class teachers, SENDCO, and external specialists
4. Support transitions and routines throughout the school day
What you'll need to succeed
5. Experience working in a SEND setting or supporting children with autism, ADHD, SEMH, or speech and language needs
6. A patient, empathetic, and resilient nature
7. Excellentmunication and teamwork skills
8. A relevant qualification ( Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning)
