 
        
        Senior Delivery Manager (MCP41)
Contract: Permanent working 35 hours a week (flexible working supported).
Salary: £49,045 per annum plus benefits including a final‑salary pension scheme, generous annual leave and flexible/hybrid working.
Location: Manchester, Birmingham or Bristol (hybrid working with remote options and 1–2 onsite days a week).
Introduction: Arts Council England is the national development agency for creativity and culture, supporting artists, practitioners and cultural organisations across the country.
Responsibilities
 * Lead and implement the delivery of designated projects within the Museums and Cultural Property team, ensuring programmes are delivered on time, to budget and meet or exceed scope.
 * Define timelines, set up Agile ways of working, monitor progress and identify/ address threats to intended outcomes, continually optimising efficiencies.
 * Facilitate continuous improvement of project teams, removing blocks to progress.
 * Co‑operate and coach team members to apply Agile and service redesign tools, supporting Arts Council’s user‑centred ambitions.
 * Build and maintain cross‑function teams, motivating collaboration and focusing on key delivery objectives.
Qualifications
 * Extensive experience managing and coordinating complex projects.
 * Experience procuring and managing services, ideally in the public sector.
 * Budget setting and management experience.
 * Degree in business management, project management or related field.
 * Knowledge of Agile and Lean methodologies.
 * Desirable to hold a Certified ScrumMaster certification or relevant project management qualification.
 * Proven influencing and leadership skills.
 * Personal resilience and ability to inspire others.
 * Proactive risk management and problem‑solving skills.
