Job Title: Cyber Security Engineer Location: Preston, Frimley or Barrow-in-Furness. Salary: Circa £53,000 depending on skills and experience What you'll be doing: Provide ongoing management and administration of Cyber Security Endpoint Security solutions and provide support to projects delivering and implementation of Cyber Security solutions Installation & support of security toolset hardware. Knowledge of networking for troubleshooting required. (For clarity, this is not a typical network engineer or SOC analyst role) Provide ongoing management and administration of Cyber Security solutions Provide guidance and support to team members where required Maintain the technology architecture to verify that systems and processes meet the specified security requirements, and that processes to verify on-going compliance are in place Your skills and experiences: Essential: A Good technical background with a proven experience in a Cyber Security role End point protection: Anti-Virus / Anti-Malware engineering support, including installation & support of the backend product as well as local endpoint agent support. The Cyber Engineering End Point Protection team: Work as part of a team safeguarding BAE Systems UK enterprise IT infrastructure against cyber threats through the configuration, installation and maintenance of Cyber Security Technical Control Software solutions and compensating controls.
