Job Summary Job Description What is the opportunity? You will be the Regional Head of Sanctions, Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption (ABAC) for the UK, EU and Asia-Pacific. This position is full time and will require you to work a minimum of 4 days in the office per week with the option to work one day from home. What will you do? Provide Sanctions and ABAC advice and program oversight for the UK, EU and APAC regions for all RBC businesses operating in these jurisdictions Oversee key controls relating to sanctions and ABAC risks Ensure policies and procedures are updated, and assist with the deployment of inherent risk assessments Track legislative updates relating to sanctions and ABAC in these regions, and communicate changes to head office and local business units Provide management reporting on key performance and risk metrics on sanctions and ABAC matters Engage regulators and act as a key point of contract on sanctions and ABAC matters, and assist in addressing examination requests and tracking and closing issues Assist with targeted training on sanctions and ABAC matters for local business units. What do you need to succeed? Must-have Experience conducting financial crime investigations Experience managing sanctions and ABAC issues Knowledge of Capital Markets and Wealth Management business Knowledge of UK and EU financial crime regulatory environment, preferable in sanctions and ABAC Good communication skills (written and verbal). Nice-to-have Background in AML investigations Experience dealing with regulators Knowledge of trade finance products Law enforcement background. What is in it for you?
