Brook Street Social Care are proud to be working with a children's residential service provider within the area of Wirral, Merseyside. A service provider who creates homes where young people feel safe, loved and supported in all aspects of their emotional, physical, and educational development - homes where young people thrive.

We are seeking to recruit Residential Children Support Workers to be a crucial part of the team within the home, supporting children and young people dealing with emotional behavioral difficulties and behaviors that challenge.


What are we looking for?

* Minimum of 6 months or more experience within a similar setting and a full understanding of mental health.
* Personify our values - loving, compassionate, clever, and creative.
* Build supportive relationships with teenagers and be good advocates and role models for them.
* Experience working with children and young people in residential care.
* Ideally hold a full UK driving license.
* Hold a Level 3 Diploma in Children's Residential Care (or equivalent/working towards).


The role

* Provide day-to-day care for children and young people living within the home.
* Establish trusting relationships and support people in care with their education, shared activities, and overall well-being.
* Organise, participate in, and plan shared activities and interests with children.
* Work flexibly to meet changing demands and take on new tasks and responsibilities.
* Ensure the health and safety of children, workforce, and visitors by maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
