Role Description
As a Senior Planner you will be an integral part of the programme delivery team responsible for the effective implementation of project controls across a Major Energy Project or portfolio of projects. You’ll help deliver some of the biggest, most iconic projects imaginable, with the best talent around, protecting our natural environment and water resources while powering our world for future generations.
Role Accountabilities
Develop baseline and detailed project schedules to support delivery of complex engineering and construction programmes in compliance with company standards. Manage and report on critical path analysis and assess subcontractor programmes for approval by the Project Manager. Utilize earned value management to support accurate cost forecasts and assist Project Managers in producing monthly performance reports. Work on live contracts and projects during the pre-contract phase to provide expert assessment of contractors tender programmes.
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience utilising Primavera P6 planning software.
* Schedule planning, forecasting and reporting.
* Construction background.
* Extensive NEC 3 / 4 contract experience.
* Experience in Electrical Transmission and Distribution sector or public sector projects within a regulated environment (water, rail, aviation, nuclear, etc.) encouraged.
* Experience working as part of an integrated delivery team.
