The Role
We are looking for an energetic and driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our UK commercial team in Castle Donington. Reporting to the VP of Marketing and working as part of ORTEC's European team, you'll focus on the Retail and Manufacturing industries in the UK. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for potential customers - engaging with inbound and outbound leads, qualifying opportunities, and booking sales appointments for our Business Development Managers.

Key Responsibilities
* Engage with inbound leads from marketing campaigns and events, qualifying their interest and fit.
* Conduct outbound outreach to target accounts via phone, email, LinkedIn, and other channels.
* Research and profile potential customers to understand their business challenges and needs.
* Book qualified appointments and demos for the sales team.
* Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and activities in CRM.
* Collaborate closely with Sales teams to refine messaging and target the right leads.
* Consistently achieve monthly KPIs on calls, meetings booked, and pipeline contribution.
About You
* Strong communicator with confidence speaking to senior decision-makers.
* Motivated, resilient, and target-driven, with a proactive approach to outreach.
* Curious and eager to learn about supply chain, logistics, and technology.
* Organized, able to manage multiple prospects and follow up effectively.
* Previous experience in a sales, lead generation, or customer-facing role is beneficial but not essential.
Requirements
* Based within commuting distance of Castle Donington.
* Eligibility to work in the UK.
* Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in French or German would be a strong advantage.
* Comfortable working in a hybrid model (office + home).
