Please Note: This role is fixed term for 12 months, with a possibility of extension. We are seeking candidates who are available to start immediately. Are you ready to drive positive change in education? We are looking for a proactive and collaborative Assistant People Business Partner to join our multi-academy trust. In this exciting role, you will partner with management to support the People Business Partner in delivering a high-quality business partnering service to your schools/areas. This role will support in delivering strategic people solutions, supporting cultural transformation, and leading key projects that enhance staff engagement and wellbeing. Partner with management to align people strategies with business goals, using data-driven insights to address current and future challenges. Provide expert advice on workforce planning, talent management, engagement, wellbeing, and organizational redesign. Drive cultural change and enhance management capabilities in people leadership and complex issue resolution. Support Trust-wide initiatives by contributing to People Strategy projects and delivering impactful policies and processes. Act as a specialist in areas like EDI, mental health, or employee value proposition, offering trusted advice and innovative solutions. Collaborate with People Services colleagues to ensure consistency, share best practices, and deliver value-added services. Stay informed on legislative changes and educational requirements to continuously improve people services across the Trust. Previous experience working at HR generalist role Experience of supporting managers in all areas of people matters including employment offers, people policies, performance improvement, disciplinary & grievance, absence & sickness, variation of terms, termination of employment and recruitment, etc Experience of working in a fast-paced HR team, providing first-level advice on HR policies and procedures, employment law and employee relations issues Experience of developing/updating policies with changes in employment legislation Commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of all students Please view the full Job Description for more information on the responsibilities and essential criteria required for this role.
