About the Role
As an Early Years Foundation Stage Midday Assistant, you will support our youngest pupils during lunchtime, ensuring their safety, wellbeing, and enjoyment as they eat, play, and interact with others. You will supervise children in the dining hall, on the playground, and around the school, promoting positive behaviour, good manners, and independence. You may help children learn to use cutlery correctly and guide them in respectful and safe play, contributing to their daily school experience.
This role is required for 2 hours a day, 5 days a week during term time.

We are looking for someone who is warm, attentive, and confident working with young children. You should be proactive, able to manage behaviour calmly, and promote a nurturing environment where every child feels secure. A first aid qualification is ideal; if you don’t have one, we will support your training. If you’re reliable, flexible, and enjoy working with children in a supportive, team-focused environment, we’d love to hear from you. This role is perfect for someone who wants to make a positive impact in a school setting, even within just a few key hours each day.
