Join us as a Financial Crime PMO at Barclays, where you'll lead the development of our digital landscape, fostering innovation and excellence.

As a Financial Crime PMO, your responsibilities include ensuring compliance with change governance standards, managing documentation, and keeping Navigator updates current. You will oversee governance meetings, provide stakeholder updates, and maintain a comprehensive project plan to ensure financial crime initiatives stay on track.

Key skills for success include:

1. Experience with project tracking and reporting, including milestones, actions, risks/issues, and dependencies.
2. Knowledge of Navigator or similar platforms for program data management and governance support.
3. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for timely and accurate reporting.

Valued additional skills:

* Experience with financial crime or regulatory projects and understanding of delivery urgency.
* Ability to support project audits and assurance processes.
* Comfort in supporting forums like steerco’s and working groups, including preparing materials and minutes.

You may be assessed on critical skills such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technology, alongside job-specific technical skills.

Purpose of the role

To assist change delivery managers in executing successful projects, ensuring alignment with controls, governance standards, and strategic objectives.


Accountabilities

* Support project compliance with Barclays Control Framework, overseeing controls and governance standards.
* Develop and implement standardized PMO processes aligned with controls and support successful project delivery.
* Monitor project performance, track progress, identify risks, issues, dependencies, and report to senior management.
* Maintain project documentation, including plans, schedules, and budgets.
* Facilitate project governance, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and effective risk management.
* Provide change management training to project teams and stakeholders.
* Continuously improve project management practices through identifying and implementing enhancements.

* Influence decision-making, contribute to policy, and collaborate across functions.
* Lead collaborative projects, guide team members, and identify new strategic directions.
* Advise on complex issues and support escalation resolution.
* Develop policies to mitigate risks and strengthen controls.
* Manage risks and controls related to work activities.
* Coordinate with other areas to support organizational objectives.
* Analyze data from diverse sources to solve problems creatively.
* Communicate complex or sensitive information effectively.
* Influence stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.
