We have an exciting opportunity for a Pavement Engineer to join our existing team on a full-time basis. Reporting to the Pavement Manager, you will be responsible for carrying out pavement designs, co-ordinating pavement investigations and conducting/compiling technical reports for submission to Transport Scotland.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Carrying out visual inspections
2. Carrying out pavement designs
3. Coordinating pavement investigations including rotary coring, FWD and GPR surveying
4. Conducting data analysis and compiling technical reports for submission to Transport Scotland
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
5. Hold a qualification at HNC level or higher
6. Ideally bring experience within a highway maintenance environment
7. Possess, or be actively working towards, a relevant professional qualification
