Job Summary
A rare, fantastic opportunity has arisen within our small, friendly and hard working team of Physiotherapists. We are seeking a like-minded, enthusiastic, well-motivated individual to join the team at clinics in Petersfield and Waterlooville. This is an excellent opportunity to build some highly specialist skills, to work directly alongside Orthopaedic Consultants and to be supported by highly experienced clinicians.
Responsibilities
* Efficient assessment and diagnosis of injuries
* Ability to create appropriate treatment and management plans using a patient centred approach
* Must have knowledge of gym rehabilitation for injury specific programmes
* Liaising with consultants and GP's to expedite fast track referrals where appropriate
* Completing insurance paperwork within contractual requirements
* Completing treatment notes for each client
* Maintaining CPD
The successful candidate will need to work across sites and also be able to cover a minimum of 2 evening shifts weekly. Driving is essential. We are open to full and part time physiotherapists and also employed or self employed for the right team member. Salary is dependent on experience and also hours and employment status and will be discussed on an individual basis.
Qualifications
Minimum requirements
* Health Care Professions Council Registration
* BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy
* Member Chartered Society Physiotherapy
* Qualified Pilates Teacher (reformer trained) would be an advantage
Experience
* Relevant post registration experience as an MSK physiotherapist - MUST HAVE 36 months + experience
* Evidence of working in a team
* Evidence of CPD documented
Skills and Knowledge
* Understand the legal responsibilities of the profession
* Ability to organise, prioritise and delegate
* Effective written and oral communication
* Understand clinical governance and it's implications for services. Include experience of quality issues and audit
* Ability to recognise when to seek advice
* Competent IT skills
* Presentation skills
* Ability to work as part of a close knit team
* Self-motivated, self-starter, able to organise a large and varied work programme
* Numerate
* Literate in English
* Being flexible and adaptable at work in order to meet competing priorities
* Ability to cope working in a fast paced environment
* Experience working with paediatric patients is an advantage
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £18.00-£22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
