Job Title: Sales Engineer – Facades Sector
About the Role:
We are seeking a driven and technically-minded Sales Engineer with proven Business Development experience in the facades industry to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a results-focused individual with deep knowledge of façade systems, materials, and project cycles to play a key role in expanding our client base and project portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the facades sector
* Manage and develop relationships with architects, contractors, developers, and consultants
* Provide technical support and product knowledge throughout the sales process
* Prepare and deliver detailed quotations, proposals, and presentations
* Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy
* Collaborate with the internal design and engineering teams to ensure client requirements are met
* Attend industry events, trade shows, and client meetings as required
Requirements:
* Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a sales or business development role within the facades sector (essential)
* Strong understanding of cladding systems, curtain walling, rainscreen facades, or related building envelope products
* Technical background or qualification in engineering, construction, or architecture (preferred)
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Ability to manage long sales cycles and multiple stakeholders
* Full UK driving license and willingness to travel as needed
