Job Description
The Interim Finance Manager is responsible for a team of 3 including one qualified accountant.
You are tasked with:
* Leading the accounting team to deliver month end close.
* Ensure accurate and timely delivery of year end. (UK GAAP/ IFRS)
* Preparation of VAT returns and support on corporation tax compliance
* Maintain the accuracy of P&L and Balance sheet
* Lead on optimisation of process and ERP
The Successful Applicant
A successful Finance Manager should have:
* A degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent
* Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) ( Essential)
* Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS ( Essential)
* Experience gained in Audit ( Ideal)
* Experience managing staff including qualified accountants ( Essential)
* Strong ERP knowledge for larger organisations eg ( Oracle, SAP, D365 etc)

This role may suit a Chartered Accountant with Audit experience and industry experience gained reporting under UK GAAP/ IFRS capable of leading month end close and deputising where required.
