UK&I Facilities Project Manager The role is responsible for ensuring all projects (large and small, planned or unplanned) stay on time, on budget, and ensure the right stakeholders are engaged throughout the process. Projects may include new facility construction, renovation, system replacement and space management in addition to architectural, structural, civil, mechanical or electrical systems, moves management and facility closures. The position gathers requirements, plans, coordinates and manages delivery to enable goals and objectives to be accomplished with prescribed time frames and financial parameters. ■ Support regional manager with projects from beginning to end, providing expert guidance on project management methodology, commercial, contractual, programme and technical related matters ■ Facilitate establishment of project goals & objects by identifying business needs, dependencies, project expectations, milestones, resources and other initiatives and assist the project management team in delivery ■ Gather programming requirements for current and future state in order to develop project scope, schedules for proposed facility projects ■ Analyse plans, designs and other documentation to present project quantitative requirement within the context of financial budgets and payment schedules ■ Ensure the design process recognises current legislation, standards and codes of practice, as appropriate ■ Striving to eliminate health and safety risks in the design and financial risks during construction ■ Reinforce identified facility design standards (i.e., facilities, safety, security, energy efficiency, space, FFE, etc.) ■ Ensure occupancy / vacancy levels are well understood and actively reported and managed ■ Ensure change control procedures are in place, and actively used, to assess the effect of changes to the projects on costs, timescale and/or resource needs and report these to project sponsors. ■ Assess project feasibility by analysing program requirements, project delivery methodology, resource needs and design requirements/limitations ■ Organise, coordinate and facilitate the delivery of the project and serve as liaison between the global real estate team, the business and project team ■ Monitor progress of assigned projects to track timelines, milestones, deadlines, standards and targets, alerting appropriate manager / personnel of any obstacles / potential delays to project timelines, targets or success and provide corrective action ■ Facilitate the successful transition of a project or program upon completion of projects to operational team including any training and documentation Person Specification: ■ Self-motivated and confident & exhibits honesty & trustworthiness ■ Excellent verbal, written communication & people skills ■ Experience of planning, controlling, monitoring, and reporting on the delivery of projects ■ Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills ■ Excellent organisation and time management skills with a great attention to detail ■ Experience must include direct work experience in a project coordination/management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution ■ Proficiency with computer aided design (CAD) software and graphics software and other space planning / project related software ■ Professional knowledge or the principles, practices, techniques and underlying concepts of design & build, accommodation/office relocation, mechanical, electricals and space management ■ Experience in reviewing working drawings and technical specifications at various stages of completion for adherence with design scope and established standards ■ Experience in determining quantitative program and project feasibility and experience in writing technical specifications and statements of work LI-JA1 Location: Remote -Berkshire, GBR If this resonates with you, we encourage you to apply, even if you don't meet all the requirements.
