As a Domiciliary Care and Support Living Support Worker your duties are varied. You might support a person to go to college, the shops, or a show in London. The duties may include some support with personal care needs, as well as providing help to take part in a wide range of special interest and activities that support our resident’s health & wellbeing such as arts and crafts, watching footie, drama, or shopping trips. You will need to have a full driver’s license with access to your own vehicle. STEPS is the Supported Living and Domiciliary (home) Care Service of Epilepsy Society providing care and support in the Chalfont and Aylesbury area. We are registered with CQC and are a specialist service for people with epilepsy and/or associated complex needs, non-epileptic attack disorder, learning difficulties or other disabilities. Support is tailored individually to the person to enable them to maintain positive lifestyles in their own home and local community. Whilst everyone at the Society has epilepsy, and often a learning disability or mental/physical health needs, the people we support are individuals. Some will rely on you to get through the day.
