Work Setup: Hybrid (3 days in-office)

Location: Central London (Farringdon)

Our Client is a Nasdaq listed Software Company. The worlds leading platform to accelerate and enable, direct-to-consumer, global e-commerce growth. Growing rapidly since 2013, operating from offices globally and is the chosen partner of hundreds of brands, including Hugo Boss, Marc Jacobs, Etam, M&S, Versace and more.

They are looking for a Presales Solutions Engineer Team Lead to join their growing team in London. This is a strategic and hands-on role where youll lead and mentor a team of Solutions Engineers and work closely with Sales, Product, and R&D teams. Your goal is to help global retailers successfully adopt and integrate with the companys platform.

Youll be the go-to technical expert during the sales process, advising merchants on best practices for integrating our platform with eCommerce systems and custom-built solutions. This is not a coding role, but a solid understanding of APIs and how technical systems interact is crucial. You'll be working closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, so strong communication skills are a must.

What Youll Do

* Lead, coach, and scale a team of Presales Solutions Engineers
* Own the technical presales process: demos, platform walkthroughs, and solution design
* Support merchants during the sales cycle, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience
* Collaborate with Product, R&D, and Sales to improve integration strategies and customer outcomes
* Gather client feedback to influence platform enhancements and priorities
* Present technical solutions in a clear and engaging way, internally and externally


Requirements

What Were Looking For

* 4+ years in a technical, client-facing role in SaaS (Solutions Engineering, Presales, or similar)
* Previous leadership or team management experience
* Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science (or similar technical background)
* Solid understanding of APIs and system integration (you wont be coding, but youll need to explain how things work)
* Excellent communicator, comfortable simplifying complex tech to any audience
* Bonus: eCommerce experience (e.g., Shopify, SFCC, Magento)
* Bonus: Fluency in French is a major advantage
