Position: Clinician and Team Lead at Ash Eton Therapeutic Community, Folkestone
We are looking for a skilled clinician to work within our vibrant therapeutic community, providing specialist treatment to adults with complex emotional difficulties while also taking on team leadership responsibilities. Our service is part of the Community of Communities and is recognized for excellence in mental health care.
Candidate Profile
* Professionally qualified and registered therapist
* Extensive experience in mental health psychotherapy, especially group work with adults with complex personality disorders
* Proven team leadership skills
* Experience in a therapeutic community setting and/or service development using co-production is highly desirable
* Analytically trained, committed to relational practice
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide clinical leadership to a multidisciplinary therapy team
2. Maintain high standards of service quality and performance
3. Manage referrals and patient flow through treatment phases
4. Advise Community Mental Health Teams and provide supervision and case consultations
5. Conduct assessments and facilitate psychodynamic psychotherapy groups
6. Lead small group psychotherapy sessions within the TC and participate in community meetings
7. Develop co-produced training and lecturing opportunities
8. Support a democratic, inclusive TC environment upholding relational practice values
9. Manage transference processes and complex team and community dynamics
10. Manage a caseload of clients with complex needs and risks
11. Prioritize and organize workload to uphold quality standards
12. Deputise for the clinical lead and support operational tasks
