Post 2 Post Recruitment is growing, and we’re hiring our first Recruitment Consultant.
We’re a specialist engineering and technical recruitment agency, focused on the Garage Equipment sector across the UK and Europe, with expansion into Automotive, Plant and Agriculture. We work closely with businesses that install, service and maintain critical workshop and industrial equipment, placing skilled engineers and technical professionals into roles where quality and experience matter.
This is a 360 role with a strong focus on new business. You’ll be responsible for winning clients, building your own desk, and delivering placements.
Responsibilities
* Win new business through calls, LinkedIn outreach and networking
* Identify and target new clients within your chosen market
* Build and develop long-term client relationships
* Advise clients on salaries, availability of engineers, and hiring strategy
* Take detailed job briefs and advise on hiring strategy
* Source and headhunt candidates across technical and commercial roles
* Screen and qualify candidates to ensure technical and cultural fit
* Manage the full recruitment process from first contact through to offer
* Handle offer management, negotiations and counteroffers
* Close placements and manage the process through to start date
What we’re looking for
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in recruitment
* Proven track record in new business development
* Confident picking up the phone and opening doors
* Able to build and manage your own desk
* Commercial, driven, and focused on result
What you’ll get
* £28,000 – £34,000 basic salary
* Uncapped commission with no ceiling
