We are seeking to appoint to the role of Information Governance Manager at the University. Working directly to the University Secretary, and closely with the University's Data Protection Officer, the successful candidate will lead the University's strategic approach on all matters related to Data Protection and Freedom of Information compliance.
The successful candidate will join a small, dedicated and professional team spanning University governance and committee servicing, legal and regulatory compliance, the Legal Office and the Office for Health and Safety, focussing on the provision of leadership, advice and guidance for information governance.
This role is pivotal to ensuring the effective management of risk in this important aspect of University compliance.
You should be educated to degree level and have substantial experience of working in an information governance role within a regulated environment at a senior level. This includes provision of authoritative advice and guidance on relevant processes and procedures and drafting policies and managing processes.
