Accounts Assistant / BookkeeperPart TimeWe are a busy and well-established accident repair centre looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our team.Location: Autofix Accident Repair Centre Loanhead, EH20 9QHHours: 20 - 25 hours per weekSalary: Depending on experienceYou will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial records of the business, ensuring accuracy and compliance. This is a key role supporting the smooth running of our accounts function.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintaining accurate financial records and ledgersProcessing purchase invoices, receipts, sales invoices, and paymentsBank reconciliationsManaging accounts payable and receivablePreparing for VAT returns in line with HMRC requirementsAssisting with payroll including pension and statutory payments (if experienced)Manage ONS surverysSupport month-end and year-end financial reportingLiaising with accountants and managementMonitoring cash flow and reporting on financial activityRequirementsProven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar roleStrong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage)Good understanding of VAT and basic accounting principlesHigh level of accuracy and attention to detailAbility to work independently and manage time effectivelyStrong excel skillsExperience in the automotive or repair industry (desirable but not essential)What We OfferFlexible working hoursFriendly and supportive team environmentMonthly bonus if company targets metJob Types: Part-time, PermanentExperience:Motor Trade: 1 year (preferred)Accounts / Bookkeeping: 3 years (required)Work Location: In personTPBN1_UKTJ
