ATG are seeking a Ground Investigations Engineer to support the delivery of geotechnical and site investigation projects for a multi-disciplinary consultancy.
The role involves planning, supervising, and reporting on ground investigations across civil engineering and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, manage, and supervise ground investigation works, including drilling, sampling, and in-situ testing.
* Analyse geotechnical data and produce clear technical reports and recommendations.
* Liaise with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure project requirements are met.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
* Support business development through technical input to proposals and tender submissions.
Skills & Experience
* Degree in Geotechnical, Civil, or Geological Engineering (or equivalent).
* Experience in site investigations, geotechnical testing, and laboratory analysis.
* Knowledge of UK and Irish geotechnical standards and guidance.
* Strong technical report writing and data interpretation skills.
* Professional membership (e.g., ICE, IGeol, or similar) desirable.
