Job Purpose This is an exciting opportunity to join our National Wealth Fund Finance team for a 12-Month Internship Programme. As the Finance Intern, you will gain a breadth of experience across all areas of the NWF Finance team including Financial Operations, Treasury, Financial Control and Financial Planning and Analysis. This is a unique opportunity to work within a small team with an important mandate, where you will gain exposure to complex financial transactions in a dynamic environment. You will gain first hand experience on: Assisting in financial data entry by recording transactions and maintaining financial accurate records. Support the preparation of financial reports, statements, and presentations. Financial Analysis: Perform variance analysis, trend analysis, and ratio analysis. Support budgeting and forecasting by gathering data, updating models, and preparing reports. Participate in audits and compliance reviews. Conduct research e.g. industry trends, financial standards and financial regulations. Required Experience and Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write concisely and compellingly Strong analytical skills Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail Ability to develop productive working relationships Excellent research skills, and the ability to deliver high-quality output at pace Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite especially Microsoft Excel Proactive, adaptable, and able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Must be studying toward a degree in a discipline relevant to Finance, Accounting or a related field.
