MPA Recruitment is currently hiring Band 3 Support Workers to join our team in a Day Centre Setting supporting adults with additional needs. About the Role You will work alongside experienced staff in a structured day centre environment, providing person-centred care and support to adults with a range of additional needs. The role focuses on enabling individuals to live as independently and comfortably as possible. This is a Mon-Fri position 9am-3.30pm Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality personal care and support to service users Support individuals during meal times, ensuring nutritional needs are met Encourage and promote independence and self-care skills Assist with mobility and physical support when required Carry out general housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment Engage with service users through effective and respectful communication Contribute to a positive, welcoming, and inclusive day centre environment Essential Criteria Minimum of 6 months’ experience in a similar support or care role NISCC registration (or willingness to apply) Willingness to complete training courses relevant to the role Ability to undergo and pass an enhanced Access NI check Desirable Criteria Health and Social Care qualification (e.g., Level 2 or higher) What We Offer Pay: £12.75 per hour Weekly pay Holiday allowance Ongoing support and placement with a well-established care team Family-friendly hours – ideal for maintaining work-life balance
