Role
As a Senior National Account Manager you will manage and develop business partnerships between IPN and nominated customer(s) whilst delivering profitable growth and building brand equity through effective leadership.
Indicative Scale and Scope
* Turnover: £20m+ Multiple customers, typically 2+
* Reports in Sales Director
* Breadth: Integrates full commercial proposition
* Scope: Fully responsible for named accounts, and leadership of channel strategy together with the Sales Director
Key Accountabilities - Senior National Account Manager
* Create and deliver key account strategies designed to grow annual revenue and profitability which meets IPN and customer expectations
* Identify and develop, in line with customer requirements, new business opportunities within the channel and deliver through the facilitation of Joint Business Plans
* Coordinate customer interfaces with key internal functions (Marketing, Operations, Finance etc.) to ensure a consistent business approach
* Engage with Marketing and Commercial teams and, in line with customer requirements, develop and deliver new/refreshed product ranges to market.
* Development of commercial structure to ensure future succession plans are in place for critical and key skill roles within the department
* Challenge business ways of working to drive change internally and with our customer relationships.
Knowledge, skills and experience of the Senior National Account Manager
* Broad knowledge of the FMCG trade
* Previous account management experience, ideally in the channel role applies to
* Leadership skills
* FMCG operational understanding and cross functional experience
* Business and commercial acumen
