Purpose of the Role As a Quality Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting Project Teams to ensure consistent compliance with our Business Management System (BMS). Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will help drive operational excellence through auditing, data analysis, coaching and continuous improvement. You will support the identification of non-conformances, share best practice, and promote a culture of right-first-time delivery to enhance performance across the business. Key Responsibilities Support the implementation and monitoring of the Business Management System (BMS). Assist with internal and external audits, tracking and closing out corrective actions. Conduct impartial forensic analysis of quality issues to identify root causes and drive corrective actions. Develop Quality Alerts and Lessons Learnt following quality incidents. Gather, analyse and report on quality data to support Quality KPIs and objectives. Provide support during regulatory inspections and client audits. Support the coordination and delivery of quality-related training and awareness sessions. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to meet quality objectives. Provide advisory support to project teams including BMS guidance, and developing Inspection & Test Plans and records. Work closely with the wider Quality Team to champion continual improvement across the division. About You Essential: Previous experience in a Quality Control or Quality Assurance role. Experience working in the construction sector. Understanding of Quality Management Systems. Strong attention to detail, accuracy and organisational skills. Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information appropriately. Competent in document control and data analysis tools. Clear communicator with a proactive and solutions-focused approach. Full UK driving licence – travel required across sites in Yorkshire and Northumbria. Desirable: Knowledge of ISO 9001 standard. ISO 9001 Internal Auditor qualification. Training/qualifications in quality assurance, auditing or related disciplines. Experience supporting quality audits and compliance activities. Experience using digital tools such as Viewpoint and Field View (training provided if required).
