Hourly Rate: £16.00 Contract Type: Permanent Hours: Can be flexible and happy to discuss with applicant. We are looking for a personal care assistant for our client who is a 25-year-old male who would like some support to get out and about and enjoy himself throughout the week. The days and times are extremely flexible and can be discussed with applicants. Our client is happy young man who loves being out and about. He enjoys going swimming and loves music. He also enjoys sensory play and spending time in a sensory room. He also loves going out for lunches and going to the cinema. The ideal candidate will be someone who can suggest other things to do as well. Our client has several complex disabilities. Our client is also non-verbal and makes use of a wheelchair. You will be working with another Personal assistant as part of this role. Our client has a blended diet and will need assistance with this. As part of this role there will also be hoist use required. There will also be some personal care attached to this role. Training in these areas can be given to the successful applicant if needed. Having a full driver’s license is also essential for this role. Applicants must have a caring attitude, have a good sense of humour, be reliable with a positive and flexible approach to work. Having experience within this area is preferred. This role requires an enhanced check through PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups).
