The Role:
The Insight Executive sits within the Insights function of the Customer Planning and Analysis team. They are responsible for analysing and reporting market data from multiple sources, as well as supporting the preparation and structuring of datasets used in reporting and dashboards, to provide the business robust and actionable insights that inform strategic decision making.

What you’ll be doing:
* Managing regular analysis and reporting of market data that keeps key stakeholders abreast of performance, including supporting the extraction, preparation and validation of datasets used for reporting and dashboards
o Including market sales and share, forecasts, price and discounting, range sizing, traffic/footfall and consumer sentiment
o Attending and incorporating learnings from agency webinars and/or in-person seminars/discussions
* Working with the Senior Insights Manager to produce seasonal deliverables that embed market data into strategic planning, from briefing agencies to consolidating multiple sources to provide a clear set of actions for the business
* Working with the team to support on ad hoc deliverables, utilising existing data-sets and customer analytics to answer business questions as well as conducting primary research when required e.g. surveys, qual.
* Supporting the team in driving integration across market data and reporting tools (e.g. Tableau/Power BI), contributing to more joined-up and accessible data views
* Supporting the development and maintenance of dashboards and data outputs, working with internal data platforms (e.g. EDP) to ensure reporting is consistent, accurate and accessible
* Building strong working relationships with key stakeholders across Customer, E-Comm, Retail and BMD teams
* Managing agencies to ensure briefs are clearly understood and efficiently delivered against
* Working collaboratively with the wider Insight function to ensure the team work effectively e.g. contributing to team brainstorms on incoming business questions, presenting back key observations from market data.
Who you are:
* Enthusiasm for retail, fashion, or other fast-paced consumer-focused businesses. Experience analysing and reporting data and trends in a commercial or retail setting preferred, whether in-house or agency.
* Excellent written and verbal communication abilities; ability to convey technical findings and data-driven insights clearly to various audiences.
o Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify relevant insights and visualise trends and narratives through charts, graphs and other compelling formats.
o Strong presentation and reporting skills to convey analysis outcomes, recommendations, and insights clearly and confidently.
* Ability to organise data effectively and share key numbers, trends, and insights at pace.
* Highly organised with a proven ability to manage reporting deadlines and attention to detail.
* Passion for data analytics and unlocking business insights, with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. Experience or interest in BI tools (e.g. Power BI/Tableau) and/or querying data (e.g. SQL) preferred.
* Interest in working with structured datasets and contributing to the creation of scalable, reusable outputs for reporting and analysis
* Creative, collaborative, and open-minded thinker, keen to uncover insights to answer key business questions.
